ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club will participate in the 2017 NHL Prospect Tournament in Traverse City, Mich., Sept. 8-12. Wild prospects will compete in the tournament's Ted Lindsay Division with the Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars and St. Louis Blues. The Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings and New York Rangers will play in the Gordie Howe Division.

Minnesota's roster features 11 Wild draft picks: D Gustav Bouramman (2015, 7th round), D Braydyn Chizen (2016, 7th round), C Joel Eriksson Ek (2015, 1st round), C Adam Gilmour (2012, 4th round), D Jacob Golden (2017, 5th round), RW Pavel Jenys (2014, 7th round), C Luke Kunin (2016, 1st round), RW Ivan Lodnia (2017, 3rd round), C Mason Shaw (2017, 4th round), RW Dmitry Sokolov (2016, 7th round) and D Carson Soucy (2013, 5th round), along with 2017 free-agent signee C Justin Kloos. Iowa Wild Head Coach Derek Lalonde, Associate Coach David Cunniff and Assistant Coach Brett McLean will lead the Wild prospects.
