Top Plays Tournament

by Mike Doyle / Minnesota Wild

After each week during the regular season, asked fans to pick the Top Play. Now, we want to know which play was tops among all of them. The only way to do this is a 32-play winner-take-all Top Play Tournament. Each of the 27 weekly winners will square off along with five plays that received the most votes, but were not picked as Top Plays in their respective weeks.

Josh Harding's glove save against Patrick Sharp was the Week 27 champ and rounds out our weekly winners. Mikko Koivu's exploding shoulder, Niklas Backstrom robbing Milan Lucic, Pierre-Marc Bouchard's no-look backhander, Cal Clutterbuck reaching 100-career points with a tip and Backstrom's OT save against the Kings are the wild cards rounding out the field of 32.

All you have to do is watch each video which will feature two plays pitted against each other. Vote on which play is your favorite, and then go on to the next video.

Each Monday, we'll move on to the next round with the winner being announced on May 29.

Last year's Top Play Tournament winner was Backstrom's ridiculous kick save in a shootout against the Kings. Can Backstrom defend his title with another big save? Well, you get to decide. Check in Monday, April 23 when the voting begins.
