Ed. note: Today's edition is brought to you by Aaron Sickman, who is traveling with the team on its one-game road trip to Chicago.

Sunday ...

5:03 p.m.

Brunette skated at Xcel this morning and wants to play tomorrow, so he should be able to extend his streak.

4:43 p.m.

Reitz just went from red jersey to blue jersey to join koivu and Miettinen in practice.

4:37 p.m.

Hello from the United Center. The Wild departed 45 minutes late this afternoon after getting de-iced and making a quick stop for a mechanical fix, and arrived at the United Center at 3:30 p.m. The big news today is that Andrew Brunette made the trip to Chicago. Kurtis Foster is also on his first road trip of the season, but he will not play Monday. Everyone made the trip except for Craig Weller (head injury) and Marian Gaborik (hip surgery).  Brunette and Marek Zidlicky did not skate today. General Manager Doug Risebrough said the team does not plan on calling anyone up today. With only 21 active players on the trip, if Brunette is not able to extend his NHL leading 497 consecutive games played streak tomorrow and the Wild does not recall anyone from Houston, the team would dress seven defensemen.

Practice lines:

Nolan - Belanger - Bouchard
Veilleux - Kolanos - Gillies
Clutterbuck - Sheppard - Boogaard
Koivu - Miettinen
