Wild at Anaheim: Game preview
You'll find facts and figures pertaining to tonight's matchup
Josh Harding will start in net tonight, and, while we're not totally certain, it may be Colton Gillies who is scratched.

11 a.m. PST

Good morning from the Doubletree Hotel in Anaheim. No practice this morning for the team, as only Marian Gaborik will be on the ice today before the game. Traffic wasn’t good yesterday following last night's game in Los Angeles, which only added to the frustration level of everyone on the bus during the hour it took us to get to our hotel.

If traffic is bad at 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday, I don’t think there is ever a good time to travel around here. Hard to believe the Wild has lost four straight games after blanking the St. Louis Blues on Dec. 3. Minnesota has never lost five straight contests in regulation, so let’s hope the streak ends today. Players were going to have a meeting this morning at 8:30 a.m. to help try and get the team back on track.

Our airplane was scheduled to stay in Los Angeles when we landed Thursday night, so they should be ready for our departure later tonight. We normally don’t return home after games in the Pacific time zone, but the 5:00 p.m. local start means that, if all goes well, we should land between 2 and 2:30 a.m. in Minneapolis.

Despite the nice weather here in Southern California, everyone is ready to get back home. Reports indicate the Twin Cities shouldn’t be hit too hard by the storm heading through the northern part of the state today, but, just in case things change, I have asked our hotel contact to hold rooms for the team -- just in case.

I will check in again from the Honda Center this afternoon with an update on our lineup.
