The R.S.S. Feed: April 2, 2009

by Ryan Stanzel / Minnesota Wild
Thursday, 12:45 p.m. CDT

The Wild went back to work today, preparing for tomorrow’s game against the Flames. There was a lot of power play work during the 45-minute practice, but Jacques Lemaire was questioning his decision to do that afterward, saying the power play was not good in practice, either. Eric Belanger got some more work on the point.

The Wild received some help last night, as St. Louis lost in Chicago. Tonight, St. Louis, Anaheim, Edmonton and Dallas all play, so there will be some scoreboard watching, for sure.

The Stars are hosting the Flames and are just about eliminated with a loss. Calgary will complete the back-to-back tomorrow in St. Paul.

Antti Miettinen will be a guest with WCCO Radio’s Mike Max tonight at 7:40 p.m. CDT.

Not much else going on today. Be back in the morning with some notes on the Wild/Flames series, as well as a look at lineups, etc.
