Wild at Blue Jackets: Game preview
The Wild arrived at their Columbus hotel at 1:45 a.m. this morning. Needless to say, everyone was disappointed to find out Anaheim had also won last night to eliminate Minnesota from the playoffs. Very quiet bus ride to the hotel.

No morning skate for the Wild today. With Dan Fritsche getting injured last night, only 20 players made the trip, so there's nothing to worry about lineup-wise other than who will start in net. Seems logical that Josh Harding will get the start, ending Niklas Backstrom’s streak of 20 consecutive starts.

Congratulations to the Houston Aeros for advancing to the Calder Cup playoffs despite a 3-2 overtime home loss to the San Antonio Rampage Friday. Houston has advanced to the playoffs in seven of its eight AHL seasons. -- Aaron Sickman
