Get your Minnesota Wild Game 7 celebration on, Saint Paul style.
The Wild together with Visit Saint Paul, the city’s convention and visitors bureau, invite fans to come down to local establishments in Saint Paul this Wednesday, April 30 to “Rock Saint Paul for Game 7” and enjoy the action and excitement together. The Wild will take on the Colorado Avalanche in Denver in Game 7 of its First Round Stanley Cup Playoff Series, with the winner advancing to Round 2. Game time is 8:30 p.m. State of Hockey Time.
“We’re encouraging fans to choose their favorite Saint Paul spot to watch the game and cheer on the Wild in the Capital of the State of Hockey,” said Terry Mattson, president & CEO of Visit Saint Paul. “The energy and excitement for these playoff games has been incredible. Let’s come together and show the team how much passion and power is behind them.”
Fans should go here, for details on participating establishments. FM 100.3 KFAN will be broadcasting live from 7-8 p.m. at Shamrock’s Grill and Pub (995 7th St. W). Wild mascot Nordy will make a few surprise stops around Saint Paul as well.
All day Wednesday fans are also encouraged to wear Wild gear or the team’s colors – Forest Green, Harvest Gold and Iron Range Red – to show their support. FOX Sports North will televise Game 7 regionally. Coverage begins at 7:30 p.m. with a one-hour edition of Wild Live presented by Century Link. Back-to-back episodes of “Becoming Wild” will air just prior beginning at 6:30 p.m.
