The Wild skated for an hour today at Xcel Energy Center. Spirits were good after last night's 2-1 loss in Columbus. The focus was closing up some gaps in the Wild's game. Todd Richards even noticed improvement throughout the game.

He also talked about how he'll reward players playing well with more icetime. He thought Belanger was good last night so he played more as the game wore on.

Lines were unchanged today at practice. Scary moment at the end when Koivu got tripped up by John Scott, but Koivu and Richards both said he was fine.

Aeros GM Jim Mill said Colton Gillies suffered a broken nose in a collision last night in Winnipeg. He went to the hospital but is ok. No head injury. Aeros won and are 1-1-0.

Lot of excitement from the players and coaches about the Twins game today.

Talk to everyone from the rink on Monday. I'll have a lengthy RSS Feed looking forward to some of the best home games in 2009-10.
