The Iowa Wild split a pair of road games against the Henderson Silver Knights last weekend.
Iowa dropped a 6-5 decision on Sunday. Forward Connor Dewar (2-1=3) and defenseman Dakota Mermis (1-2=3) led the team with three points each. Forwards Cody McLeod and Mason Shaw also scored, forward Kyle Rau tallied two assists and goaltender Dereck Baribeau made 24 saves.

Iowa claimed a 2-1 win on Saturday. Shaw and forward Will Bitten scored, forward Matt Boldy registered two assists and goaltender Andrew Hammond stopped 24-of-25 shots faced.
Forward Marco Rossi leads the team in scoring with 15 points (3-12=15). His point total ranks sixth among AHL rookies. Rau ranks second on the team in scoring with 14 points (5-9=14). Defenseman Joe Hicketts (5-8=13) and Shaw (6-7=13) ranked tied for third with 13 points each. Forward Nick Swaney ranks tied for third among AHL rookies with seven goals.
Hammond is 5-1-1 with a 2.14 goals-against average, a .913 save percentage and three shutouts in seven games. He leads the AHL in shutouts and ranks fourth in goals-against average. Baribeau is 4-4-0 with a 3.03 goals against and a .897 save percentage in eight games.
Iowa plays at Chicago on Thursday and hosts the Wolves on Saturday and Sunday this week.
