Iowa extended its season-long point-streak to 11 games this past week (8-0-3), splitting a pair between Coachella and dropping its game at Texas in OT. In the first matchup against Coachella on Jan. 26, Iowa fell in OT 3-2.
Nic Petan and Adam Beckman were the goal scorers for Iowa, and Zane McIntyre stopped 30-of-33 shots faced in regulation and OT.

Two nights later, Iowa outlasted Coachella 5-2. Sammy Walker (2),Joe Hicketts, Andrej Sustr and Beckman all scored, Jesper Wallstedt stopped 21-of-23 shots faced. Petan (0-3=3), Hicketts (1-2=3) and Sustr (1-2=3) all had three points in the win.
In its final game of the week on Jan. 30, Iowa fell to Texas 5-4 in OT. Mike O'Leary and Petan scored for Iowa while Walker recorded two goals in consecutive games. Hicketts (0-3=3), recorded his second consecutive three-point outing. McIntyre stopped 26-of-31 shots faced in regulation and OT.
Through 42 games, Iowa has moved into third place in the Central Division with a record of 21-14-7.
Walker (19-18=37), Hicketts (4-30=34) Fogarty (11-18=29) and Petan (10-19=29) lead Iowa in points. Walker's 37 points currently leads all rookies, while his 19 goals rank second and his 18 assists has him T-6th.
Wallstedt Is 12-7-3 with a 2.57 GAA and a SV% of .914, and is 7-0-0 in his last seven starts with a 1.14 GAA and SV% of .960. McIntyre is 9-7-3 with a 3.15 GAA and SV% of .889.
