Mayhew and Anas lead Iowa with 28 points each this season

The Iowa Wild went 1-1-0 in two games last week. The Wild earned a 6-2 victory against the IceHogs at BMO Harris Bank Center (12/27). F Sam Anas (0-3=3) and F Kyle Rau (0-3=3) led Iowa with three points each. F Brandon Duhaime (1-1=2), F Gerald Mayhew (2-0=2) and F Dmitry Sokolov (1-1=2) tallied two points apiece. G Kaapo Kahkonen stopped 17-of-19 shots. Iowa fell in its second game of the week, 4-3, against Chicago at Wells Fargo Arena (12/28). Mayhew led the team with two assists. Anas, F Kyle Bauman and Duhaime each netted a goal. Kahkonen made 20 saves. Mayhew (18-10=28) and Anas (8-20=28) rank T-1st on the Wild with 28 points this season. Mayhew ranks second in the AHL in goals and fourth in shots. Rau ranks third on the team in scoring with 25 points (6-19=25) and has a point in nine of his last 10 games (2-14=16) since Nov. 16. D Brennan Menell ranks T-4th amongst AHL defensemen in assists, sixth in shots and T-6th in scoring.
