Sam Anas leads Iowa in scoring with 19 points

The Iowa Wild went 1-2-0 in three games last week. The Wild lost its first game of the week, 7-3, against the Stars at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park (11/26). F Gerald Mayhew led the team with two goals. F Brandon Duhaime also netted a goal. G Mat Robson stopped 25-of-32 shots. Minnesota dropped its second game of the week, 4-3, against the Stars in Texas (11/30). F Sam Anas netted two goals. G Luke Johnson registered a goal. Robson made 21 saves. The Wild earned a 3-2 victory in its third game of the week against the Rampage at AT&T Center (12/1). Anas led the team with three assists. F Nico Sturm (2- 0=2) and D Brennan Menell (0-2=2) notched two points apiece. G Dereck Baribeau made 30 saves to earn the victory in his AHL debut.

Anas leads the Wild in scoring with 19 points (6-13=19). Mayhew ranks T-5th in the AHL in goals. Menell leads AHL defensemen in assists, ranks T-1st in scoring and T-2nd in shots (63) along with teammate Louie Belpedio. At the time of his recall (11/20), Kahkonen ranked T-2nd in the League in shutouts and T-3rd in wins. Robson is 4-4-3 with a 2.68 GAA, a .907 SV% and one shutout in 11 games, ranking fifth amongst AHL rookie goaltenders in GAA and T-5th in SV%.
