The Wild extended its point streak to three games with a 3-2 overtime loss against the Checkers in Charlotte on Saturday (11/26). Pulkkinen (1-1=2) and F Pat Cannone (0-2=2) led Iowa with two points apiece. Warner also netted a goal while Stalock stopped 44-of-47 shots through overtime. Iowa extended its point streak to four games with a 5-1 win against Charlotte at Bojangles' Coliseum on Sunday (11/27). Pulkkinen led with three points (2-1=3). F Jordan Schroeder (0-2=2), Cannone (1-1=2), D Gustav Olofsson (1-1=2) and F Alex Tuch (1-1=2) notched two points each. Stalock earned his fifth win of the season, stopping 21 shots.
Pulkkinen was named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week on Monday (11/28), becoming the second Wild player this season to earn the award and only the third all-time in four seasons. Pulkkinen ranks T-1st on the Wild with 15 points (8-7=15) in 13 games this season and ranks T-6th in the AHL in PPG (4) and T-9th in goals. Schroeder also ranks T-1st on Iowa with 15 points (4-11=15) while ranking T-10th in the league in assists. Tuch ranks T-3rd on the Wild with 12 points (5-7=12) in 21 games and ranks T-8th amongst AHL rookies in goals, T-12th in scoring and T-16th in assists. Cannone also ranks T-3rd on the team with 12 points (3-9=12). Stalock is 5-5-1 with a 2.93 GAA, a .906 SV% and one shutout in 12 games. G Steve Michalek is 4-5-1 with a 3.28 GAA and a .912 SV% in 12 games. Iowa finishes its seven-game road trip visiting Grand Rapids on Friday (12/2) and Chicago on Saturday (12/3) before returing home to host Milwaukee on Tuesday (12/6).
