Gerald Mayhew leads Iowa with 16 points in 15 games

The Iowa Wild went 2-0-1 in three games last week. The Wild earned a point with a 6-5 shootout loss against Milwaukee Tuesday at Wells Fargo Arena (11/19). F Sam Anas (1-1=2), D Matt Bartkowski (1-1=2), F J.T. Brown (1-1=2), F Gabriel Dumont (1-1=2), D Brennan Menell (1- 1=2) and F Kyle Rau (0-2=2) each collected two points. G Kaapo Kahkonen made 28 saves through overtime and stopped two-of-three shootout attempts. Iowa earned a 4-2 home victory against Bakersfield Saturday. F Gerald Mayhew (1-1=2) and F Luke Johnson (1-1=2) tallied two points apiece. F Connor Dewar and F Cody McLeod each scored a goal. G Mat Robson stopped 21-of-23 shots. The Wild claimed a 3-2 shootout victory vs. the Condors Sunday. Dumont and McLeod each scored for Iowa during regulation and Brown netted the shootout winner. Robson made 29 saves through overtime and stopped six-of-eight shootout attempts.

Mayhew leads the Wild with 16 points (10-6=16) in 15 games this season, ranking T-8th in the AHL in goals. Menell ranks second with 14 points (2-12=14) and ranks second amongst AHL defensemen in shots (58), T-3rd in points and T-4th in assists. Anas (4-9=13), Dumont (7-6=13) and Rau (5-8=13) rank T-3rd on the team with 13 points each. Robson is 4-2-3 with a 2.06 GAA, a .929 SV% and one shutout in nine games.
