11.22.17 Prospect Report

The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, extended its season-best win streak to five games. The Wild is 7-4-1 at Wells Fargo Arena this season, having played the most home games than any other AHL team (12) and ranks T-1st in home wins and points (15).

Iowa earned a 4-2 victory against the Griffins on Friday at Wells Fargo Arena (11/17) to set a franchise record with its sixth win in November.
F Zack Mitchell (1-1=2), F Kyle Rau (1-1=2) and F Christoph Bertschy (1-1=2) each tallied two points. G Steve Michalek stopped 28-of-30 shots.
At the time of his recall on Nov. 20, Mitchell has totaled 15 points (5-10=15) in the last eight games and led the Wild with 16 points (5-11=16) in 11 games this season, ranking T-11th in the AHL in assists. F Colton Beck (6-5=11) and F Pat Cannone (6-5=11) rank T-2nd with 11 points each. F Justin Kloos ranks fourth with 10 points (4-6=10) in 16 games and ranks T-12th amongst AHL rookies in scoring.
G Niklas Svedberg is 5-6-1 with a 2.60 GAA, a .910 SV% and one shutout in 12 games this season and ranks T-1st amongst league goalies in games played, second in minutes (716), third in saves (315) and T-9th in wins. Michalek is 3-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and a .938 SV% in three games.
Iowa will travel to Rockford for a two-game series Wednesday and Friday before heading to Chicago on Sunday and hosting Milwaukee Tuesday.
