The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, went 1-1-0 in two games last week.

Iowa earned a 3-0 shutout win against the Ontario Reign on Friday at Wells Fargo Arena (10/13).
F Pat Cannone (1-1=2) and D Carson Soucy (1-1=2) led the team with two points apiece while F Colton Beck also netted a goal. G Niklas Svedberg recorded his first shutout of the season, stopping all 27 shots faced.
The Wild fell in its first road game of the season, 7-4, against the Rockford IceHogs on Saturday at BMO Harris Bank Center (10/14). D Alex Grant (1-1=2), F Ryan Malone (0-2=2) and F Cal O'Reilly (0-2=2) each led the team with two points. Beck, F Justin Kloos and D Mike Reilly each scored a goal and Svedberg made 39 saves.
Cannone leads Iowa with five points (3-2=5) in four games. Beck ranks second with four points (2-2=4). F Gerald Mayhew (1-2=3), D Brennan Menell(1-2=3) and O'Reilly (1-2=3) rank T-3rd with three points.
Svedberg is 1-3-0 with a 3.34 GAA, a .890 SV% and one shutout in four games this season. Backups G Steve Michalek and G Adam Vay are yet to see game action.
The Wild hosts the Manitoba Moose for back-to-back games this weekend (10/20 & 10/21) before meeting Rockford again on Wednesday (10/25).
