Hentges Prospect Report

A look at how Minnesota Wild prospects have performed up-to-date this season, from NCAA to international play.
One Minnesota Wild prospect will be crowned a national champion, when St. Cloud State plays UMass in the NCAA championship at 6 p.m. CST on Saturday.
Sam Hentges, a 2018 draft pick, is a forward for St. Cloud State, while 2019 draft pick Filip Lindberg is the UMass goalie.
History will be made in the game, as neither school has ever won a national championship in its history.
Sam Hentges recorded an assist for St. Cloud State in its 5-4 win over Minnesota State in the semifinal. Hentges has recorded eight goals and nine assists in 28 games this season.
UMass goalie Filip Lindberg did not play in the Frozen Four semifinal due to COVID-19 contract tracing protocols, but he is scheduled to travel to Pittsburgh on Friday and could rejoin the team for the national championship.
