The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, went 2-1-0 in three games last weekend The Wild ranks third in the AHL in power-play percentage (23.3) this season, T-4th in power-play goals (56), T-6th in points, seventh in penalty kill percentage (83.5) and T-7th in shorthanded goals (9).

Iowa earned a 4-3 overtime victory in its first game of the week against Grand Rapids Friday at Van Andel Arena (3/8). F Cal O'Reilly led the team with three points (1-2=3). F Will Bitten and F Mitch McLain scored in regulation while D Matt Bartkowski netted the overtime winner. G Andrew Hammond stopped 34-of-37 shots. The Wild fell in its second game of the week, 4-1, against the Wolves Saturday at Allstate Arena (3/9). F Kyle Rau scored the lone goal for Iowa and G Kappo Kahkonen made 29 saves. Iowa stretched its home point streak to a franchise record eight games with a 4-1 victory against San Antonio Tuesday at Wells Fargo Arena (3/12). Rau led the team with three points (2-1=3) while F Sam Anas (0-2=2) and O'Reilly (1-1=2) recorded two points each. Hammond stopped 25-of-26 shots.
O'Reilly leads Iowa with 54 points (13-41=54) in 53 games this season and ranks T-3rd in the AHL in assists and T-14th in points. F Gerald Mayhew ranks second with 45 points (20- 25=45) in 58 contests. Rau ranks third with 43 points (22-21=43) and ranks T-1st in the League in PPG (15) and 10th in shots (165). Hammond is 15-7-1 with a 2.60 GAA, a .917 SV% and two shutouts in 23 games this season. Kahkonen is 16-11-8 with a 2.73 GAA, a .909 SV% and five shutouts in 35 games and ranks T-2nd amongst League goalies in shutouts.
