The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, went 1-1-2 in four games last week and has earned points in 37 of its last 49 contests (25-12-12). The Wild sits at 70 points through 60 games this season as its 70 points are already its second-most in a single-season in the team's five-year history.

Iowa fell in its first game of the week, 4-2, against Texas Wednesday at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park (3/7). D Alex Grant led the team with two assists. F Zack Mitchell and F Kurtis Gabriel each scored for the Wild while G Niklas Svedberg stopped 29-of-33 shots.
The Wild took a point in its second game of the week with a 4-3 shootout loss against San Antonio Friday at AT&T Center (3/9). F Justin Kloos led the team with three points (2-1=3), setting a franchise record for most points in a single season by a rookie. F Sam Anas tallied two assists and D Zach Palmquist also scored a goal. Svedberg made 23 saves through overtime.
Iowa earned a 4-3 victory in its third game of the week against Manitoba Sunday at Wells Fargo Arena (3/11). Anas tallied three assists while F Cal O'Reilly netted two goals as both of them each set franchise records for most points in a single season. Palmquist and F Gerald Mayhew tallied two assists apiece. Svedberg started the contest, stopping 11-of-14 shots in 37:32 and G Steve Michalek recorded the win, stopping all 13 shots faced in relief.
The Wild earned a point in its final contest of the week with a 3-2 overtime loss against Rockford Tuesday at BMO Harris Bank Center (3/13). D Brennan Menell and F Kyle Rau each scored for Iowa while Michalek stopped a season-high 46-of-49 shots.
Anas leads Iowa with 49 points (20-29=49) in 54 games this season and ranks T-3rd in the AHL with three shootout goals and T-10th in scoring. O'Reilly ranks second with 48 points (12-36=48) in 59 games and ranks T-6th in the league in assists and T-16th in scoring. Kloos ranks third with 43 points (19-24=43), ranking fifth amongst AHL rookies in scoring, sixth in goals and T-7th in PPG (7) and assists.
Svedberg is 16-11-6 with a 2.58 GAA, a .916 SV% and two shutouts in 34 games this season. Michalek is 11-5-5 with a 2.97 GAA and a .913 SV% in 21 contests.
Iowa completes its four-game road trip, visiting Grand Rapids Wednesday and Saturday and Chicago Sunday before hosting Rockford Monday.
