KidsDay

ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild announced today that the organization will host U.S. Bank Kids Day on Saturday, Sept. 23 when the team hosts the Colorado Avalanche at 5 p.m. in a preseason contest at Xcel Energy Center. Thousands of youth from across the State of Hockey will have the opportunity to experience a National League Hockey game thanks to tickets donated by the Wild and season ticket holders.

Kids will also take center stage in each of the regular Wild in-game elements including making the "Let's Play Hockey!" call, skating in the youth starting lineup, riding on the Zambonis during intermission, and more.
Wild Season Ticket Holders can donate their tickets to the September 23 preseason game at My Wild Account and will receive double investment points for tickets donated in Wild Rewards as a thank you. The deadline to donate tickets is Sept. 8. Tickets donated by the Wild and Wild season ticket holders will be distributed to community nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, learn-to-play programs, area children's hospitals, military families and youth hockey programs registered with Minnesota Hockey.
Before the game, kids will have various opportunities to experience free, kid-friendly activities such as face painting, balloon artists, and coloring stations. Kids can also receive an autograph from a Wild player to be announced from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m.
