LW Mason Raymond paced Vancouver with a goal and assist as the Canucks earned a 4-0 victory Thursday at Xcel Energy Center. Canucks G Cory Schneider stopped 22 shots to earn the win. Wild D Tom Gilbert scored for Minnesota, as the Wild moved to 4-2-0 on home ice this season. The Wild finishes its two-game homestand Saturday versus Nashville at 7 p.m.

D Tom Gilbert netted his third goal in 10 games this season – matching his total in 67 games last season. He has seven points this season, leading Minnesota defensemen and ranking third on the Wild in scoring.

D Jonas Brodin netted his third assist in seven games this season.

LW Matt Cullen tallied an assist for his fourth point (1-3=4) of the season – his third point (1-2=3) in his last four games.

G Niklas Backstrom made 12 saves and took the loss in two periods of play before being replaced in net by G Josh Harding, who stopped all six shots he faced.

C Mike Rupp made his Wild debut, playing for his sixth team in parts of 10 NHL seasons. He becomes the seventh American on the Wild’s active roster.

F Charlie Coyle made his home debut at Xcel Energy Center after skating in Phoenix Monday.

The Wild allowed at least four goals on home ice for the first time this season.
