C Charlie Coyle broke a third-period tie as Minnesota claimed a 3-2 victory in front of a sellout crowd of 18,102 fans Friday night at Xcel Energy Center. G Josh Harding earned the win with 22 saves, while RW Jason Pominville and C Mikko Koivu each posted two points. Next up, Minnesota finishes its three-game homestand with a game against Winnipeg at 7 p.m. CT on FOX Sports North and KFAN 100.3 FM.

Minnesota extended its season-best point streak to seven games (6-0-1), moving to 9-1-2 in its last 12 games. With 28 points, the Wild set a franchise record for most points through 20 games, topping the 27 gained in 2011-12 (12-5-3).

The Wild moved to 9-1-2 on home ice this season, having won five straight and nine of its last 10 games in Saint Paul. No NHL team has more points on home ice than Minnesota (20).

RW Jason Pominville used a goal and an assist to claim his team-leading fourth multi-point game of the season, the 118th of his career. Pominville now has 13 points (9-4=13) in his last 11 games, and 16 points (12-4=16) this season. His 12 goals are T-4th amongst all NHL players this season.

G Josh Harding improved to 11-2-2 this season with a 1.26 GAA. Since Oct. 19, Harding is now 8-0-2. He remains a perfect 9-0-0 at Xcel Energy Center this season, T-1st for most home wins in the NHL, while posting a 1.17 GAA. He is now 30-9-2 in career starts at Xcel Energy Center, including 23-4-1 since Jan. 27, 2010 and 12-1-0 in his 13 starts in Saint Paul. Tonight, he gave up two goals on home ice for just the second time all season.

C Mikko Koivu netted two assists for his second multi-point game this season and 94th of his career. He leads the Wild with 13 assists this season, netting 15 points, including seven (1-6=7) in his last five games.

C Charlie Coyle earned his first GWG of the season and third of his career. He has four points (2-2=4) in five games since missing 12 games with a knee strain.

LW Zach Parise scored his second goal in as many games and now has eight points (4-4=8) in his last seven games. He leads the Wild with 17 points (10-7=17). Five of his 10 goals this season have been the Wild’s first goal of the game. With his sixth PPG tonight, Parise ranks T-2nd amongst all NHL players this season.

The Wild has scored at least one PPG in 13 of 20 games. With 17 PPG this season, the Wild is T-3rd for most in the NHL this season.

With an assist tonight, RW Nino Niederreiter has six points (1-5=6) in his last seven games, totaling 11 points (3-8=11) this season.

D Ryan Suter netted his 12th assist of the season, T-5th for most helpers amongst NHL defensemen. His 26:49 ice time tonight stopped a streak of four straight games over 30:00 TOI.

RW Tomas Kopecky got Florida on the board with his first goal of the season and C Jonathan Huberdeau tied the game in the third. G Tim Thomas made 17 saves in net for Florida.
