G Devan Dubnyk earned his third shutout in a Minnesota jersey as the Wild blanked Chicago, 3-0, Tuesday night in front of a sellout crowd of 19,104 at Xcel Energy Center. C Mikko Koivu, LW Jason Zucker and C Mikael Granlund each scored for the Wild as Dubnyk stopped all 24 shots faced. Next up, the Wild plays its second of a three-game homestand, hosting the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday at 7 p.m. CT on FOX Sports North and KFAN 100.3 FM.

The Wild has won four straight games in regulation for the first time since March 25, 2013, that ended a span of six consecutive regulation victories. The Wild has points in seven of its last eight games, (6-1-1). Minnesota also moves to a 15-10-4 record against the Western Conference this season, including five straight wins.

Minnesota outshot Chicago, 43-24, including a 24-5 advantage in the second period. The Wild has tallied 40-plus shots in six games this season. The 24 shots tallied in the second period set a franchise record for most shots the Wild has ever tallied in a single stanza (last, 23 in second of 3-0 win vs. EDM, 3/22/09). The 24 shots also rank T-3rd for most the Blackhawks have ever allowed in a single period.

Minnesota has outshot its opponents in 11 of its last 13 games, totaling a 439-351 advantage. The 439 shots since Jan. 6 rank first in the NHL. Overall, the Wild has outshot its opponents in 39-of-50 games this season (78.0%).

C Mikko Koivu registered his 111th career multi-point game using a goal and an assist in tonight’s contest. He also tallied seven shots on goal and won 13-of-21 faceoffs (61.9%). He has seven points (2-5=7) in his last eight games and 26 points (7-19=26) in 50 games this season.

LW Jason Zucker netted the Wild’s second goal of the game, extending his career high to 18. He has two goals in as many games and his 18 goals ranks second on the Wild this season. He also has career highs in assists (5), points (23), shots (113), GWG (2), and SHG (1) in 46 games this year.

C Mikael Granlund netted his fifth goal of the season and won nine-of-14 faceoffs (64.3%). He has three points (1-2=3) in the last two games, five points (2-3=5) in his last five games and 18 points (5-13=18) in 36 games this season.

D Marco Scandella tallied the secondary assist on Zucker’s goal, totaled two hits, two blocked shots and set a career high with eight shots on goal. He has 16 points (9-7=16) in 41 games this season.

LW Zach Parise earned the sole assist on Granlund’s goal. He has nine points (7-2=9) in his last eight games. He has points in 20 of his last 30 games, totaling 15-12=27 points in that span. He leads the team in both goals (21) and points (39) this season.

G Devan Dubnyk started his eighth consecutive game with Minnesota and moved to a 6-1-0 record since joining the Wild on Jan. 14 with a 1.48 GAA, a .943 SV% and three shutouts. His three shutouts with Minnesota are more than he has had in any of his five previous NHL seasons.
