made 32 saves, C John Madden and D Nick Schultz each scored a first period goal for the Wild, which plays host to Washington on Thursday.
C John Madden skated in his 799th NHL game. He scored his second goal of the season – both coming in the last two home games.
D Nick Schultz scored his first goal in 85 games, dating back to Oct. 8, 2009, at Los Angeles. Schultz’ last goal that didn’t come against Los Angeles was March 17, 2009, against Colorado.
