RW Jarome Iginla netted his record 35th goal against the Wild and set up LW Curtis Glenross’ third-period goal, as the Calgary Flames held off Minnesota 4-3 at Xcel Energy Center. G Miikka Kiprusoff made 24 saves for his 29th victory versus the Wild. C Erik Christensen recorded his eighth career two-goal game and RW Devin Setoguchi also scored for Minnesota, which opened a five-game homestand that continues Tuesday against Dallas.

C Erik Christensen recorded his eighth career two-goal game – first since Feb. 25, 2011, at Washington. Christensen had zero points in 15 games with the Wild this season entering play tonight.

RW Devin Setoguchi scored his 18th goal of the season with 1:04 left in regulation.

LW Stephane Veilleux posted an assist, giving him 100 career points (46-54=100) in 447 NHL games. Veilleux is 21st on the Wild’s all-time scoring list with 91 points (43-48=91) in 369 games.

D Jared Spurgeon picked up an assist, giving him a team-leading 23 points (3-20=23) amongst defenseman.

Minnesota tied a season high with three, third-period goals.

The Wild’s first goal snapped a home scoreless streak of 166 minutes, 23 seconds.

RW Jarome Iginla scored his 35th goal versus the Wild. He leads all NHL players in goals, points (64) and GWG (10). Iginla has a goal in four straight games against Minnesota for the third time in his career.

Flames LW Sven Baertschi scored his first NHL goal.

Minnesota allowed the game’s first goal for the ninth time in 10 games.
