Wild prepares for the second of three games in current homestand

ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild is in the midst of a three-game homestand, welcoming the Toronto Maple Leafs to Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul at 7 p.m. on Thursday night.

Several familiar faces joined the ranks at morning skate, including Jared Spurgeon for the second day in a row and Zach Parise. Recently recalled goaltender Steve Michalek also practiced with the team. Scroll on for a look at photos from morning skate.

The Golden Knights come to town for the first time in franchise history

ST. PAUL -- The Wild will play the Vegas Golden Knights for the first time in franchise history on Thursday night as the League's newest team comes to St. Paul. Vegas-raised Jason Zucker will face off against his hometown team, while former Wild players Erik Haula and Alex Tuch return to the Twin Cities.

Wild skates in Buffalo ahead of Wednesday's 6 p.m. CT matchup against the Sabres

BUFFALO -- The Wild has a busy stretch of games ahead, including Wednesday night's road game against the Buffalo Sabres. After arriving in upstate New York Tuesday afternoon, the team took part in morning skate at Key Bank Center. 

Wednesday will mark the first time forwards Marcus Foligno and Tyler Ennis will play the team that drafted them following the summer trade that dealt them to St. Paul. Scroll on for a look at practice.

Photo Blog: Wild faces Flyers on Hockey Fights Cancer Awareness Night

Coyle returns to practice for the first time since injury sustained Oct. 12

ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild welcome the Philadelphia Flyers to town Tuesday night. The two teams last met Saturday, Nov. 11, in Philadelphia in a game the Wild won, 1-0. 

Tuesday's game is not only a rematch but is also Hockey Fights Cancer Awareness Night for the Wild. Players will wear lavender jerseys during warmups which will later be auctioned off to benefit the Minnesota Wild Foundation.

Devan Dubnyk takes over the net for Minnesota against Toronto

Toronto - Originally Alex Stalock was slated to get the start in net in Toronto. Plans changed on Wednesday morning when Stalock returned to Minnesota for the birth of his second child. Devan Dubnyk will now get the nod in goal as the Minnesota Wild continues its road trip against the Maple Leafs at 7:30 p.m. Eastern.
