Wild announces Opening Night roster

Roster reduced to 22; Boldy an injured non-roster player

ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League club has reduced its training camp roster to 22 players. The team designated forward Matt Boldy as an injured non-roster player.

Minnesota opens the 2021-22 NHL season with a two-game road trip starting at the Anaheim Ducks on Friday, Oct. 15 at 9 p.m. on ESPN+, Hulu and KFAN 100.3 FM. The Wild plays at the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday at 9:30 pm on Bally Sports North and KFAN 100.3 before hosting the Winnipeg Jets in its home opener on Tuesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. on Bally Sports North and KFAN 100.3 FM.
