The Minnesota Wild has announced a new multi-year partnership with BMO Harris Bank, which includes entitlement of the flag bearer at Wild games at Xcel Energy Center beginning in the 2015 National Hockey League regular season. The BMO Harris Bank Flag Bearer is a young fan who leads the Minnesota Wild onto the ice at each home game.
“We’re pleased to work with such an important organization in our community as the Wild, and we’re especially happy to be sponsoring the flag bearer, which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for one young fan each game,” said Todd Senger, Market President, BMO Harris Bank. “The Wild is a tremendous asset to our area and part of BMO’s growing partnership with the NHL in several of our markets.”
This partnership also includes a “Show Your Sign” in-game feature and a permanent on-ice dasher board. At 10 Wild home games this season, fans will have a chance to be selected to show their co-branded BMO Harris Bank/Minnesota Wild signs for a chance to be shown on the main video board. The signs will be available on the main concourse. The Show Your Sign element will also be promoted via Wild social media channels.
“The Wild is proud to begin this partnership with BMO Harris Bank,” Wild Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Carin Anderson said. “BMO Harris Bank has a long history of being entrenched in the communities they serve especially in Upper Midwest areas like Minnesota, Illinois and Wisconsin. BMO Harris Bank presenting the Wild’s flag bearer is a perfect fit as they expand their presence in the State of Hockey.”
