The Minnesota Wild today announced over 300 fans lined up at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office to purchase single-game tickets, which went on sale at 9:00 a.m. The club also announced that tickets remain for all preseason and regular season games.
Over 100 fans camped outside the Xcel Energy Center Box Office for tickets. With his tent, blanket, and cooler, Coon Rapids’ Allen Dick was the first in line, setting up camp Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 8:00a.m.

Dick and several other fans were rewarded on Friday afternoon when Mikko Koivu, Eric Nystrom, John Madden and Matt Cullen stopped by to say hello and thank the fans for their support.

“We are excited about the great Wild fan support we have received for our single-game ticket on sale today,” said Jamie Spencer, Vice President of Customer Sales and Service. “While we still have tickets available for all Wild home games this season, we anticipate capacity crowds for many games and have great tickets options available.”

Good seats still remain for every Minnesota Wild regular season home game and the club’s three preseason games at Xcel Energy Center. Tickets can be purchased at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office (175 West Kellogg Boulevard), on, and at all Ticketmaster ( locations or charge by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000. The Xcel Energy Center Box Office is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and four hours prior to Sunday events. 

The Minnesota Wild opens the home portion of its 2010-11 schedule at the Xcel Energy Center on Thursday, Oct. 14 against the Edmonton Oilers at 7:30 p.m. Minnesota’s home schedule features 21 weekend games (six on Friday, seven on Saturday, and eight on Sunday)
