Kunin Prospect Report 10.24.18

The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, fell in its weekend series at Texas (0-2-0). The Wild ranks first in the AHL in fewest times shorthanded (21), T-1st in fewest goals against (13) and fourth in power-play percentage (30.0, 6-for-20).

The Wild suffered a 5-4 loss against the Stars Friday at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park (10/19). F Cal O'Reilly led the team with three points (1-2=3) while F Luke Kunin tallied two points (1-1=2). F Mike Liambas and F Kyle Rau each scored a goal and G Andrew Hammond stopped 21-of-26 shots.
Iowa lost 3-1 in the second contest against the Stars on Saturday in Texas (10/20). F Colton Beck netted the lone goal for the Wild with assists from F Gerald Mayhew and D Brennan Menell. G Kaapo Kahkonen made his professional debut, making 25 saves.
