SAINT PAUL -- Minnesota Wild General Manager Paul Fenton today announced the NHL club has recalled defenseman Nate Prosser from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Prosser, 32 (5/7/86), was assigned to Iowa on a conditioning assignment Nov. 2 and registered three shots on goal in two AHL games, a 3-2 shootout win at Grand Rapids on Friday and a 2-1 shootout win at Rockford last night. He has played in one game with Minnesota this season, skating 3:13 in a 2-1 win against Arizona on Oct. 16. Prosser tallied nine points (3-6=9), a plus-8 rating and 19 penalty minutes (PIM) in 56 games with the Wild last season, setting career highs in goals, hits (56) and plus/minus rating. The 6-foot-2, 201-pound native of Elk River, Minn., owns 47 points (10-37=47) and 229 PIM in 340 career NHL contests with St. Louis and Minnesota.
Minnesota continues its franchise-record seven-game road trip Tuesday in San Jose at 9 p.m. on FOX Sports North and KFAN 100.3 FM.
