Minnesota Wild Announces Local Broadcast Schedule For 2015-16

The Minnesota Wild, in conjunction with FOX Sports North and KFAN FM 100.3, has announced the team’s local broadcast schedule for the 2015-16 National Hockey League season. The Wild will make 63 appearances on FOX Sports North, seven on FOX Sports North PLUS and 12 on NBC or NBC Sports Network. KFAN FM 100.3 continues to be the Wild’s flagship station on radio. The Wild also announced it now has 44 affiliates spanning four states on the Wild Radio Network.

The Wild’s first game of the regular season at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8 at Colorado, is on NBCSN. FOX Sports North will kick off the coverage with a one-hour “Wild Live” pre-game show at 7 p.m., and will follow the game with a one-hour post-game show.

Coming off the highest-rated season ever for Wild games, FOX Sports North will televise 34 games from Xcel Energy Center and 36 on the road this season. The Wild game in St. Louis at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6 will serve as the marquee event for the 10th annual Hockey Day Minnesota presented by Wells Fargo.

Minnesota Wild telecasts on FOX Sports North will feature play-by-play announcer Anthony LaPanta, color analyst Mike Greenlay and reporter Kevin Gorg. Tom Hanneman and Jamie Hersch will host Wild Live before and after every game with analysis from Wes Walz, Tom Chorske and Ben Clymer.

KFAN FM 100.3 enters its fifth season as the official flagship home of the Minnesota Wild. Bob Kurtz (play-by-play), Tom Reid (analyst) and Kevin Falness (studio host) will continue to capture all the action, each in their 15th season covering Wild hockey. Coverage of each game will begin with a 15-minute pre-game preview and conclude with the 30-minute Coors Light Postgame Show. Conflicting games will move to KOOL 108 FM. KFAN will also continue to host “Wild Weekly,” as well as “Wild Fanline” after select Wild games.
