With three assists against the New York Islanders on March 18, Mikko Koivu became the Wild’s all-time leading scorer, passing Marian Gaborik, with 437 career points at the time.Through the rest of the season, he added to the margin, with 130 goals, 322 assists and 452 points in his nine-year NHL career — all as a member of the Wild. Though it was certainly the biggest milestone of Koivu’s season, he also faced a few others. He also became the franchise leader in power-play points with an assist against Anaheim on Oct. 5. A few days later, he notched his 400th career point against Nashville on Oct. 8. And finally, he played in his 600th career game on April 10 against St. Louis.
