MINNESOTA COACH JACQUES LEMAIRE QUOTES
Wednesday, November 23, 2005 versus Edmonton
Tough loss tonight.
“I thought we had a chance to win even though we didn’t play as well as I thought we could have. They got a good bounce at the end and were able to put it in and win the game. When we tied it up, you could see the guys had more energy. At that point I thought we could win the game.”
Your thoughts on Gabby (Marian Gaborik) and Dupuis (Pascal).
“I’m happy with the way those two guys played, it’s nice to see Pascal score. He’s been playing very well. Even though we got Marian back tonight, everybody else still has to play the game their capable of playing.”
Talk about the ending of the game.
“It was a very tough loss. Especially in the last minute of the game. When we tied it up, I thought at that point we had the momentum, and we could win the game. When we scored it seemed like they were backing up, but they regrouped and put the pressure on us at the end. It was nice to finally score. I’ve been playing better lately, but I would feel better if we could have won the game. We just have to regroup in time for our next game against St Louis.
