It’s all Aeros all the time around the State of Hockey. With the Minnesota Wild not involved in the NHL postseason, the focus around these parts has shifted to the future Wild players battling for the Calder Cup in the American Hockey League playoffs. So, in keeping with the theme, Wild PONDcast host Kevin Falness ran up his long distance bill while chatting with Houston Aeros head coach Rob Daum, as well as two of Houston’s leading playoff scorers, Kirby Law and Matt Foy.
Foy and Law each had six points in a four-game sweep of the Peoria Rivermen last week. They are currently gearing up to face the Milwaukee Admirals in the West Division Final, which begins on Thursday night in Milwaukee, sometimes referred to as "the good land."
