ST. PAUL --The Minnesota Wild today announced details of Hockey Is For Everyone Awareness Night on Thursday, Feb. 8, when it hosts the Arizona Coyotes at 7 p.m. at Xcel Energy Center (FOX Sports North and KFAN 100.3 FM).

Fans can purchase an exclusively-priced
Hockey Is For Everyone Ticket
to the game. A portion of each Hockey Is For Everyone ticket purchased will offset the cost of tickets for DinoMights youth hockey players to attend the game. DinoMights utilizes hockey and educational opportunities to support kids from urban or at-risk areas.
Intermission activities will include a DinoMights hockey game, a Willie O'Ree 60th anniversary video, a Minnesota Sled Hockey game and video recaps of the
2017 USA Hockey Sled Hockey Classic
held at Plymouth Ice Center and the
"Into The Wild"
event held at Xcel Energy Center earlier this month in conjunction with the Autism Society of Minnesota.
As part of Hockey Is For Everyone Awareness Night, the following groups will have information tables setup on the main concourse:
The NHL and NHLPA have designated February as Hockey is for Everyone™ month to reaffirm that the official policy of the sport is one of inclusion on the ice, in our locker rooms and in the stands. Around the League and in our communities, we celebrate hockey's diversity and our unwavering commitment to respect for all.
The Minnesota Wild continues to support numerous programs and initiatives that help provide as many people as possible the opportunity to play hockey in a positive and inclusive environment. Some of the programs and initiatives the organization supports include: DinoMights, Herb Brooks Foundation, Minnesota Special Hockey, Minnesota Sled Hockey Association, United Heroes League, Minnesota Warriors Ice Hockey Program, Minnesota Whitecaps and the National Women's Hockey League.
