"Go Green" Promotion Raises $1,000

by Staff Writer / Minnesota Wild
The National Hockey League’s (NHL) Minnesota Wild today announced its GO GREEN promotion for Wild home games held on Oct. 21 and 24 raised $1,000 for Saint Paul-based Neighborhood Energy Connection (NEC).

Ten dollars from each ticket purchased through the GO GREEN promotion in the lower level or Treasure Island Resort & Casino Club Level for either matchup was directed to the NEC, a non-profit organization that provides energy conservation information, services and programs to residents, businesses, and communities across Minnesota.

The GO GREEN promotion was designed to celebrate the debut of the club’s new third “green” jersey and the organization’s recently announced “50-50 in 2” sustainability initiative.
