Zach Parise is known for scoring his goals from near the blue paint, but his 250th NHL goal was a nice snipe on the power play. A quick give-and-go pass from Jason Pominville to Ryan Suter along the blue line started the play, but it was Suter’s laser pass to Parise that set up him to score his 73rd power-play goal of his career.
Parise’s shot from the top of the circle was redirected by Blues’ defenseman, Ian Cole. With Thomas Vanek screening Jake Allen, the Blues stood no chance against the Minnesotan.
