On Jan. 10, 2015, Ryan Suter became the ninth Minnesota Wild player named to represent the club at the NHL All-Star Game.
“It’s a lot of fun. The whole thing they put on, from Friday night’s draft, that’s always fun to be around…The skills competition, it’s fun to sit back and watch the snipers go at it," Suter said to media after being named to the team. "It's a good celebration of hockey and I’m excited to represent the Minnesota Wild."
The shutdown defenseman scored a goal in the All-Star Game in Columbus and jokingly told the Lighthouse “I don’t know, I closed my eyes.”
