First Round Series Logistics And Information

The Minnesota Wild's 2016 NHL Stanley Cup Playoff run begins Thursday in Dallas, against the Stars. Though the series won't shift back to Minnesota until Monday, there will be plenty of events for fans throughout the week. For all the logistics and when and where things will be taking place, check here to find all the details.

Local Broadcast Information

Fans without a ticket can still tune in to FOX Sports North and listen to games on KFAN 100.3 FM, including extended pregame shows. Outside the local viewing area, each Wild-Stars game will be carried on national networks.

Pep Rally And Viewing Party

The Wild will host a Stanley Cup Playoff Pep Rally for Game 1 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 14 at Mears Park in downtown Saint Paul. The first 250 fans will receive a free grilled hot dog or hamburger along with chips and a beverage.

On Saturday, April 16, the Wild will host a free viewing party for Game 2 on the HD LED centerhung videoboard at Xcel Energy Center. Fans are encouraged make a cash donation upon entry to benefit Matt Olson, the Isanti, Minn., native who recently suffered a severe spinal cord injury playing hockey. The first 500 fans will receive an official playoff rally towel.

More Tickets Available For Games 4 And 6

A limited number of Minnesota Wild playoff ticket holds were just released and may be purchased at Also, sign up at to be notified via text when playoff tickets become available on the day of a game.

Pre-Game Party Before Game 4

The Minnesota Wild will host free pre-game parties for fans prior to each home Stanley Cup Playoff game next week at the expansive Cleveland Circle parking lot across W. 7th Street from Xcel Energy Center.

On Wednesday, April 20, the pre-game festivities will be held from 5 - 8 p.m., ahead of the 8:30 p.m. start for Game 4.

Pre-game festivities will include a DJ, the two-story Bud Light Mega Bar, playoff merchandise, Happy Hour pricing and NHL alumni autographs. The following four NHL alumni are scheduled (subject to change) to sign autographs at the pre-game party from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.:
