Fantasy Spotlight: MIN vs. PHX

by Carly Peters / Minnesota Wild

Fantasy Pick: Kyle Brodziak

Kyle Brodziak might be one of the most versatile players in the Wild locker room. The gritty forward has moved around the Wild lineup this season, bringing energetic play, sound defense and most recently, a scoring touch.

Brodziak netted two goals in the Wild's loss in Colorado Saturday and Head Coach Todd Richards praised him afterwards for his effort throughout the game and his willingness to fight Avs forward Chris Stewart.

Brodziak has six points (4-2=6) in 23 games this season, leading the Wild with a +4 rating. He's earned a +5 ranking in his last three games and also leads all active Wild players with a 16% scoring percentage this season.

He looks to continue his recent hot play tonight against Phoenix. Brodziak has 11 points (4-7=11) in 13 career games against the Coyotes, the most points he's collected against any NHL team. Brodziak also has four multi-point games versus Phoenix.
