The Minnesota Wild called up a host of players from Houston of the American Hockey League last season, but nobody had more success than Robbie Earl, who earned six callups. In 32 games with the Wild, he potted six goals and provided speed and energy. The Wild is hoping for that same result as Earl has earned his first callup of the season.
In making the move, the Wild reassigned Cody Almond
to Houston. Almond played has been held without a point in the four games he's played with Minnesota.
Through 14 games, Earl leads the Aeros in scoring with four goals and five assists. He's picked up two goals and two assists in his last four games.
