Defending The Blue Line Camo Gala

Defending The Blue Line® (DTBL) is excited to announce the Camo Gala presented by SuperAmerica® a member of the Northern Tier® family of companies, to assist military families in keeping their kids healthy and active in sports while their parents are serving our nation. The event will be held on Sunday, June 28 at 6 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom at Mystic Lake Casino. KARE11 sports director Dave Schwartz will emcee the event. “This is a great opportunity to recognize those who have done so much to advance our cause,” said Shane Hudella, Founder and President of Defending The Blue Line®. “We’ll be recognizing our Military Service Member of the Year, Military Child of the Year, Athlete of the Year, and others. It should be a spectacular night of entertainment, filled with great programming and a fantastic list of pro athletes and executive supporters.”

Defending The Blue Line and Defending The Base Line is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by a group of National Guard soldiers from Minnesota. The charity assists families of all branches of the military with costs associated with hockey, as well as other sports. They provide financial assistance for registration fees, free equipment, summer camps, and send many deserving families on a special night out to watch pro, collegiate, and minor league sports games before or after deployment.
