Danny Irmen Featured On Latest Wild PONDcast

by Staff Writer / Minnesota Wild

Danny Irmen piled up 38 points on 16 goals and 22 assists in just 30 games during an injury-laden junior season with the Gophers.
Danny Irmen, the Minnesota Wild’s third round draft pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, is featured in an exclusive interview with the one-and-only Kevin Falness on the latest Wild PONDcast. Irmen, who just wrapped up his junior season with the Minnesota Gophers, talks about what his status is regarding his thoughts on turning pro, or staying in school for his senior year. He also reflects on a disappointing finish to the season, which ended with a shocking first round NCAA upset to Holy Cross.

Stephane Veilleux also checks in from lovely Vancouver, British Columbia, where he is trying to lose the memory of last night’s crushing 2-1 defeat to the hated Vancouver Canucks.

Additionally, in a seperate PONDcast, Falness gets another exclusive interview with Irmen’s former linemate-turned-Philadelphia Flyer, Ryan Potulny.
