Assists the Director of Catering Sales with wedding and event inquiries for the facility, provides tours to perspective clients and contracts food and beverage events. Provides event coordination; communicates policies, procedures, pricing, and contract specifications to clients for catered functions and relays all information to appropriate interdepartmental personnel. Works directly with the Director of Catering Sales and the Senior Catering Sales Manager in forecasting, catered events and special projects. Ensures exceptional guest service is provided through communication and follow-up with all staff and customers to achieve financial, operational and business goals.
Thoroughly knowledgeable in event and meeting management.
Possesses in-depth knowledge of Wildside Caterers facilities, menus and operations as they pertain to catering and sales.
Maintains organized file/tracking system for all assigned events; assists in handling inquiries for the 317 facility and gives tours to prospective clients.
Communicates policies, procedures, pricing, and contract specifications to clients for catered functions.
Plans, develops and coordinates events.
Provides clients with estimates on all contracted food, beverage and services.
Collects all deposits and keeps accurate records for billing purposes.
Serves as event coordinator and/or convention advisor during functions to minimize confusion and resolve problems, such as space adjustments and additional equipment needed.
Bachelors degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Intermediate working knowledge of word and excel.
