Murray 8.12.17

ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher and Senior Vice President of Hockey Operations Brent Flahr shared their thoughts on the passing of long-time hockey executive Bryan Murray:

"Bryan was a great friend and mentor to many of us in this business. He was an outstanding coach and general manager who loved to compete and win, yet always found time to treat people the right way. We lost a good one today. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bryan's wife, Geri, his daughters Heide and Brittany, and the entire Murray family."
The Senators confirmed that Murray, who coached for 18 seasons and 1,239 NHL games, died Saturday morning. He was 74.
