Wild Announces 2017-18 Local Broadcast Schedule

FOX Sports North, KFAN continue as team's TV, radio homes

SAINT PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild, in conjunction with FOX Sports North (FSN) and KFAN 100.3 FM, has announced the team's local broadcast schedule for the 2017-18 NHL season.

FOX Sports North will televise 70 regular season games and two preseason contests this season, including 35 games from Xcel Energy Center and 37 road contests. A total of 13 telecasts will be presented on FOX Sports North PLUS. FOX Sports North will televise the Sept. 21 preseason game against Winnipeg and the Sept. 23 U.S. Bank Kids Day preseason game against Colorado. FOX Sports North's regular season coverage will begin with the Minnesota Wild contest at Carolina on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m. followed by club's first regular season home game on Saturday, Oct. 14 against Columbus at 7 p.m.

Minnesota Wild telecasts on FOX Sports North will feature play-by-play announcer Anthony LaPanta, color analyst Mike Greenlay and reporter Kevin Gorg. Audra Martin will host Wild Live presented by CenturyLink before and after every game, with analysis from Wes Walz, Tom Chorske and Ben Clymer.

All Wild games televised on FOX Sports North will also be streamed live on FOX Sports GO. FOX Sports GO is available to customers of participating pay-TV providers on iOS, Android, Fire tablets and Fire phones, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Roku, Windows devices, and online at FOXSportsGo.com. Fans can download the mobile app for free from the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Amazon App Store and Windows Store.

FOX Sports North debuts a half hour special, "Wild Season Preview" at 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22. "Becoming Wild" presented by Toyota also returns with a new season premiering Saturday, Oct. 14, immediately following the Wild Live postgame show. 

FOX Sports North reaches nearly 2 million homes throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and North and South Dakota and telecasts nearly 2,600 hours of locally produced programming per year. A total of 66 games will be simulcast on FOX Sports Wisconsin, extending the team's reach to an additional 1.5 million homes. KFAN 100.3 FM enters its seventh season as the official radio flagship home of the Minnesota Wild. Bob Kurtz (play-by-play), Tom Reid (analyst) and Kevin Falness (studio host) will continue to capture all the action. Coverage of each game will begin with a 15-minute pregame show and conclude with a 30-minute postgame Show. KFAN will also continue to host "Wild Weekly," as well as "Wild Fanline" after select games. iHeart Radio reaches more than 2.5 million listeners every week over the air, via the Internet and through iheartradio.com. The Wild radio broadcast is also available on the Wild Mobile App, inside Xcel Energy Center at 95.7 FM and across the 47 station Minnesota Wild Radio Network, the largest network in the National Hockey League.
