Eichel split SWS

Jack Eichel took the Stanley Cup on a trip down memory lane.

The Vegas Golden Knights forward brought the Cup to his hometown of Chelmsford, Massachusetts on Friday.

was posted to the Golden Knights Instagram account.

Eichel kicked off his day taking the trophy to Skate 3, his childhood rink, where he hoisted the Cup and posed for pictures with fans.

After, Eichel took Stanley to Chelmsford High School where he attended for freshman year of high school before joining the U.S. National Development Program.

He wrapped up the day celebrating with friends and family (including former teammate Jonathan Quick, who signed with the New York Rangers at the start of free agency).

And, of course, he had to make sure his dog, Harold, got to celebrate with the Cup as well.

Stanley got a peek at Eichel's past and present, and -- with the forward's name now etched on the side of the Cup -- will forever be a part of his future.
