Sergei Zubov
FRISCO, Tex. – The Dallas Stars announced today that the hockey club has activated defenseman Sergei Zubov from the injured reserve list. Zubov is expected to be in the line-up for tonight’s game at Anaheim.

Zubov missed all of training camp and the first 12 games of the regular season after undergoing hip surgery in mid-September.

The highest-scoring Russian-born defenseman in NHL history, Zubov is the only blue-liner in the league to collect 30+ assists in each of the last 12 seasons. On the Stars’ franchise all-time lists, he ranks third in games played (829), third in assists (434), and sixth in points (545). Zubov led the Stars in average ice time last season at 25:41. He has appeared in 1,058 NHL games, scoring 152 goals and 615 assists for 767 points.

The Stars take on the Anaheim Ducks tonight at 9 PM (CST). The game can be seen in North Texas on My 27 and heard on News/Talk 820 WBAP.
