Team Marketing Report just came out with their NHL ticket prices breakdown. The publication's research, a survey of ticket prices around the league, determined that the Dallas Stars have the lowest average general ticket price in the NHL in 2009-10 at $35.66. This average ticket price includes the standard gate prices in the upper deck from last season, not factoring in the dynamic pricing that the Stars have introduced this year.
Team Marketing Report
also reported that the Stars rank 24th-lowest in the league in the average cost for a family of four to attend a game at $246.64, while Dallas ranks 14th-lowest in the NHL in average premium ticket price at $115.28.
The publication reports that general ticket prices around the entire league have only increased 0.1 percent over last season to an average of $51.41. The average league cost for a family of four (four tickets, two small draft beers, four small soft drinks, four hot dogs, parking, two game programs and two caps) increased 1.7 percent to $301.
